The time has come! Yep, today is the day that I start hosting an amazing give-away. Amazing? You bet! If you are the lucky winner you will not have to worry about #SheetOutOfLuck for one year. No sad face for my winner!
But first a little story….Last week I headed of to #BlogHer’14 for my first-ever blogging conference. At the last moment I was able to find a ticket for my daughter Alyssa, a blogger in her own right. How fun for us! A mother-daughter conference experience for the two of us to share. While we sat together for breakfasts and lunches enjoying the speakers, the comedian Tig Notaro, and a live music performance of The Mrs., we headed to different breakout sessions, as we both had different aspects of blogging that we wanted to learn about. And learn we did! I came away with a ton of information regarding writing and publishing, business laws and the sort, and building my audience. Each meal brought us a new speaker as well. We listened and learned from Jenny Lawson (Let’s Pretend This Never Happened), Kerry Washington (Scandal), and Arianna Huffington of the Huffington Post. During Arianna’s talk on the need for sleep, she gave the audience her email and said that she answers all her emails. So I quickly picked up my phone and sent her a two sentence note. To my surprise, two days later I did receive a response! The response included a personal invite to write an article for the post and the name and email of whom to directly send the article to. Arianna cc’d this editor as well! I have been a little busy, so I have not written the article yet, but I am thinking that I will.A fun aspect to the conference was the expo hall with loads and loads of sponsor booths and swag to gather! Fun stuff indeed! Of course we stopped by the Angel Soft Booth to say hello, meet the crew, take a few pictures, and collect our swag! Somehow my picture complete with fluffy angel wings and white feathery boa has gone missing!
The little squishy toilets? They were a hot item at one of my lunch tables! Two mothers were collecting extras to take home to their sons. Each of these ladies had three boys and they both new when their kids saw the toilets they would go crazy! The best souvenir that they could find was Angel Soft toy toilets for their boys! I am sure the boys all gave a hoot and a holler when they got the gifts!
And I have a gift for one lucky reader! This give-away is worthy of a hoot and holler as well! Because I am giving one lucky reader a year-supply of both Angel Soft bath tissue and Angel Soft facial tissue! Wow! Just think of not needing to worry about running out of bath tissue for one solid year! Yep, when this product shows up at the home of one of my lucky readers I am sure that reader will be hootin’ and hoollerin’ louder than those boys that got the squishy toilets! So don’t delay and enter today! In fact you can enter every day until the contest closes. You will not need to worry about #SheetOutOfLuck for one year if you are the winner! Also, be sure to Like Angel Soft on Facebook, follow on Twitter, and share your own great #SheetOutOfLuck and #SheetHappens moments.
