Baby, it’s hot out there! Yes, it is. And today I am keeping cool by hosting one of my Ladies Pool Parties! That’s right. Last Saturday the pool was filled with kids and adults alike; we had a great fun-filled Fourth of July celebration, but today it is all about the ladies. One of the many things I love about my friends is that they are so easy. I simply put out a few drinks, toss a salad, and they bring the rest.

With a quick run to Safeway this morning, I stocked up on an assortment of teas and waters – Smart Water being my all-time favorite bottled water. I love the crispness of it.

Check out my new serving table that I am in the process of making. It’s not done yet, but it has already been put into service. This is a free headboard that I found on the side of the road last week. When it is complete, I will post pictures on the transformation.
