Blue Cheese Crumbles Appetizer

Are you a blue cheese fan? Well, for anyone that looooves blue cheese – this is a die for delicious appetizer! The tangy blue cheese mixed with a little olive oil and vinegar, lemon juice, chopped red onion, garlic and parsley – Wow! Amazing flavors mixing and melding together to just the right tangy and creamy bite! Top it onto a cracker or slice of apple and you have a dance party going on inside of your mouth.  Really!

This appetizer is a favorite of mine for three reasons: 1) it is scrumptious! 2) You make it ahead and 3) It is a huge crowd pleaser! Blue Cheese Crumbles

INGREDIENTS:
8 oz. blue cheese crumbles
2 cloves garlic minced
1/3 cup olive oil
2T red wine vinegar
1T lemon juice
½ cup chopped red onion
½ cup minced parsley
DIRECTIONS:
Sprinkle cheese into a shallow dish
Mix together garlic and olive oil, drizzle over cheese.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cheese.
Refrigerate one hour.
Serve with sliced green apples or whole grain crackers.
