I love sparkles! I was given this great gift of a SPARKLING bottle of sparkling wine for the holidays from a friend that works for One Hope Wine. This is a company that is making a difference. Half of all profits from the sale of their wine is donated to a specific cause. When you have a chance check them out at onehopewine.com and see what causes you can support with every glass of wine you drink 🙂
This bottle of sparkling wine was delicious and inspirational! Look at the knock of my daughter made for her cousin’s 21st birthday! Pretty cool, huh?
My daughter made her own label to cover up the champagne label- adding even more sparkles and giving her a place to write a personalized message. A pretty cool gift between cousins! All you need is Mod Podge, glitter, a bottle of bubbly, and a little bit of time. This is a quick and fast project.Since I had everything in the house (including the cider), I decided to make a glitter sparkling cider for Valentine’s Day.
The first thing you need to do is cover all of the glass area with a nice coat of Mod Podge. Let the glue get a little tacky.
Then sprinkle glitter on the glue! And let the glue dry completely.
Once the glue is dry, wipe away the glitter that is on the paper. Take the bottle outside and spray a coat of clear sealer onto the glitter. Let the sealer dry. Even with the sealer your bottle will shed some glitter. One important item to note – if you make your own glitter bottle, it is best not to place your bottle in an ice bucket! Enjoy the sparkles!
The kids will be enjoying this sparkling bottle of cider with our Valentine’s Dinner. Friday night’s dinner will be a make-your-own heart shaped pizza. I simply get the personal size Boboli pizza bread and with my kitchen scissors I cut the circles into a hearts. I set up a bar of assorted pizza toppings and the kids go to town creating their own pizza! Lots of fun and so very easy! Our family Valentine’s celebration. Sparkle on!
