I’m Loving My Pampered Chef Brownie Pan!

A while back I made a beautiful and yummy dish called Triple Greens Frittata. When I posted the recipe with pictures, I had a friend Sheila decide that she needed to send me a new pan! Yep, you got it – a new Pampered Chef pan arrived shortly after that post. When she saw my recipe and post, Sheila’s comment was that she had the pan for me! And who does not love getting a surprise package in the mail? The fact that it’s Pampered Chef? Makes it all the more delightful! I love Pampered Chef, and I have been having a lot of fun with my new Brownie Pan.

Pampered Chef Pan

Sheila was right! I love this new pan! It makes these adorable and easy to serve portions! It is perfect for so many recipes. I have enjoyed using this pan when I cook for both potlucks and entertaining. It makes it soooo easy for guest to help themselves!

Brownies

I admit it, I have been using it mostly for brownies! It is called a Browine Pan after all. The pan came with an e-recipe book filled with some rather delicious looking recipes, but instead I have used one of  Sheila’s personal recommendations: a box of Ghiradelli Double Chocolate brownie mix, replace the water with buttermilk, and bake for 20 minutes. Easy! And so good!

Ghiradelli Brownie Mix

Yes, I do have a favorite homemade brownie recipe tucked away in my recipe binder, but I have not made that recipe in years. Decades actually. I really do like some of the box brownies mixes – they are supper easy, and I have never had anyone turn down a brownie because they did not enjoy the ooey-gooey chocolatey richness of a boxed-mix brownie. Not ever.

Brownie

This was the first time that I have swapped out water for buttermilk. Glad I did – extra delicious! Look at that tower of yumminess! When I served these brownies at our Fourth of July gathering, a  friend asked which bakery I bought my brownies at because she wanted to get some for her next party. Between the yumminess and perfectly shaped squares, she figured I bought them from a bakery! Nope – just a box, an easy substitute, and a great new pan!

But beyond brownies, Sheila is right – this would be perfect for my Triple Greens! The next time I make my Chili Cheese Corn Bread or my Cheesey Mushroom and Artichoke Breakfast Casserole I will be using my new Pampered Chef Brownie pan. Not only will my food taste delicious – they will look smashing and be easy to serve. I think they should change the name – it’s so much more than a brownie pan 🙂

Important to note – the pan cleans in a flash 🙂 I was a bit worried about that – I’m not one who enjoys the clean-up of my kitchen endeavors.

Thank you Sheila! I love my new pan! If you are in the area, Sheila also hosts  amazing evenings of prepping and preparing meals for the freezer! Salad and dessert nights as well. It always looks like a fun time in her kitchen!

How long do you bake them for and what temperature?

    1. Stacey says:

Bake for 20 minutes – check with toothpick in center to see if you like that level of doneness. It will be a bit fudgy Same temp as the box says.

  2. Sandy says:

I just found this recipe and excited to try the buttermilk in place of water. How long did you bake these since they are individual and not a big pan? Thank you.

    1. Stacey says:

Hi Sandy, Love these easy to make brownies! When I make them in my brownie pan, I bake them for 20 minutes. If I use a regular sized pan, I bake according to the the package directions. So good!

  3. Janis says:

I’m sure this sounds like a foo.ish question.. but how much mix do you scoop into each section

    1. Stacey says:

Hi Janis! Not foolish at all. The box makes one pan of brownies, so I just distribute the mix as evenly as possible between the 12 sections.

  4. These look yummy! I love brownies. I also happen to love Pampered Chef. I don’t own this pan, but think after reading this great recipe, I will have to go and get one!

  5. That looks like a great pan. I love the idea of replacing the water with buttermilk. I bet they taste delicious!

  6. Oh no! I’m currently part of a Pampered Chef party and was debating what to buy. You may have just added another item to my list! I love brownies and this pan looks perfect!

  7. Yummm 🙂 You’re right! I’ve never come across a boxed brownie I didn’t like. Haha!

Sometimes I’ll get extra-decadent and throw nuts or chocolate chips in the batter, but I’ve never thought of replacing the water with buttermilk! I will be trying that soon (as in tonight).

  8. What a great idea; I hate trying to cut gooey brownies into perfect squares!

  9. Oh, I need one of those. Like right now!

    1. Stacey says:

The brownie or the pan? lol 🙂

      1. Lynn says:

I just got this pan. I love the idea of replacing the water with buttermilk. I was going to make brownies with Reese’s chips. Would they taste funny with the buttermilk and Reese’s chips together?

        1. Stacey says:

Hi Lynn, I think the Reese’s chips will be a delicious addition! The buttermilk does not alter the flavor, but it does increase it a richer texture – more fudgy. Enjoy!

  10. The brownies look fantastic. I remember reading about the rounded edge brownies being the best although the pan I saw had some kind of removable divider in it that Im sure would be way harder to clean. I do like the sound of your frittata idea as well as the breakfast casserole, all great ideas.

    1. Stacey says:

My friend has one of the pans with the re-movable dividers – her brownies are wonderful! But I don’t want her pan and divider to clean! I love the versatility of this pas as well.

    2. Lynn says:

Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly!!

      1. Stacey says:

I hope your brownies were delicious!

  11. Debra says:

I think my husband would love this pan! I kind of like my brownies super soft, I am definitely in the minority!

    1. Stacey says:

These turned out nice and soft in the middle. but it has the chewy sides as well. Yum!

  12. I NEED that pan ASAP! ha! I will have to hijack your buttermilk brownies. I love adding buttermilk to my recipes. Definitely pinning.

    1. Stacey says:

Thanks! It was a great substitute!

  13. Looks cool! I wonder if would help or hinder my issue with eating a whole pan at once…

    1. Stacey says:

      Hmmmm….good question!

  14. This looks like the perfect pan for making individual-sized oven omelettes in! What a fun pan– I definitely want one now.

    1. Stacey says:

YES! You can even let people customize their own. How fun would that be?!

  15. Yum! Love this, I think I’ll have to pick one of these up.

    1. Stacey says:

It’s great for eggs as well!
